On the 10th of November we joined the school for a Remembrance Day Service, Sarah and Claire and a small group of children took a large Poppy Flower made by all the children in the pre-school to lay at the Memorial. The Rev: Richard Selby Boothroyd conducted the service and our children did really well listening carefully to the prayers and singing. Later one of our parents came to spend some time with the children. She read a story from a book called Soldier Oli and showed them her medals then the children did some colouring and made their own medals. Thank you Mathew’s mum.
