Both the Baby and Toddler rooms have been busy, they held Christmas stay and play sessions! Mum’s and Dad’s came to join in the fun with their children. They had opportunities to see what the children do at nursery.

The children have been using their imaginations as they post cards to their friends, fill stockings with presents, decorate the tree with baubles and paperchains

We were very proud of our pre-school children on their first visit to the primary school. We were invited to watch the reception dress rehearsal of their nativity play.

This week at Lyneham we have been exploring the vegetables we eat at Christmas, we talked about who liked sprouts and who didn’t. We introduced the language of quantity to describe who had the most sprouts on their plate.

A huge thank you to all the parents that donated prizes and came along to support our stall at Lyneham Primary School on Friday.
