We talked about the colours and smells and how they felt. We picked the petals off and played with them, making ‘perfume’ and ‘cake’ with them in the natural tray.

The children have been fascinated, watching them move, eat their special caterpillar food. The children have asked ‘why are they spiky?’

We hope that you and your family will join us in the Carnival Procession this year. We will meet in the carpark at Sunny Days Nursery in Lickhill Road at 3.45pm, to give the children the props they have been making. Then we will walk to Bremhill View at 4.00pm where the carnival will start from.

To celebrate National BBQ Week we thought it would be great to join in and have some fun with a BBQ! The children really enjoyed cooking and eating their food outside.
