The Grand Old Duke of York, he had 66 men....
At our Lyneham pre-school we have been really interested in the Grand Old Duke of York nursery rhyme and decided to try and make Ten Thousand Men. We have been experimenting with symbols and marks to represent numbers on them. One of the children had a great idea to stick the paper men on the window and counted that so far we have made 66 men. We have quite a way to go yet to make the other 9934 men, but we will persevere!
