A Fun- Filled Holiday Club - Book now for Easter

What a packed week we had at the half-term Holiday Club. Activities included pom-pom making, Pokémon battling, den building, Valentine’s card making, poem writing and of course we have spent lots of time outside participating in lots of sports and games. The children challenged Jack to a football match and we also worked as a team to build a super challenging obstacle course. We also visited The Firs Residential home to share some cookies and also had a visit from a professional sports coach! Bookings now being taken for our Easter Holidays Club. Suitable for 5-11 year olds.

Activities included; •Pancake day- The children topped their pancakes with a variety of different toppings but the classic lemon and sugar was definitely a favourite with the children! •Valentine’s card making- The children decided to create some lovely valentines cards for their loved ones at home, they used lots of different materials and techniques to create some masterpieces! •Pokémon creating- The children used their imagination to make up their own Pokémon characters. •The Great British bake off- The children decided to hold their own Great British bake off competition, the children took it in turns to be judges and also create their wonderful bakes using modelling materials •Visit to the Firs residential home- We visited the firs residential home, the children had a lovely visit- where they decorated and gave out biscuits and also shared their teddies and dolls with the elderly. •Up and under sports coach- We had a professional sports coach visit us, he taught us all about ball skills and we also played lots of team games. •Robot junk modelling- The children used their imagination to create a ‘robot’ using junk modelling materials. •Mythical creature painting- The children decided to create their own ‘mythical creatures’, which they bought to life using pencils and paints. •30 second cheerio challenge- The children took part in a challenge of ‘Who can stack the most cheerios within 30 seconds?’ Evie was our winner, she successfully stacked 16 cheerios in the time limit. Well-done Evie! •Outdoor play- The children have spent around 50% of their time at holiday club in the garden, taking part in lots of different activities including; football, tennis, table tennis, ball tag and traditional tag. •Picnic tea- The children decided twice this week to have a picnic tea in the garden. •We have also participated in lots of other activities including; Lego building, K’nex building, drawing, painting, junk modelling, role-play, Wii games, Train tracks and board games!
