This is a full time role working 40 hours a week shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm.
However for the right candidate we would consider a part time role.
You will be based at our Calne settings and will be required to visit our Lyneham nursery and so driving licence / own car required.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager with plenty of vision and energy to join our team and help move the setting from a term time only pre-school to a busy and successful all year-round birth to school age nursery and out of school club. We are looking for someone with the experience of dealing with OFSTED and all the mandatory requirements of managing an Early Years Setting PLUS the enthusiasm and ideas to grow and develop this setting to sit alongside our busy and successful full day care nursery in Calne.
You will work as part of the Senior Management Team reporting to the Area Manager and Company Directors and the main tasks initially will involve growing occupancy, recruiting staff and expanding the new baby unit whilst also making sure the nursery is fully complaint and ready for OFSTED. You will be happy to take direction and guidance whilst also confident to work on your own, managing your team and setting on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be expected to spend time working in the rooms each week to model and teach quality practice and care. Excellent communication skills are vital to allow you to develop a partnership with parents, work closely with your staff team and also forge relationships with local schools, MOD Lyneham and the local community.
All applicants must be educated to a minimum GCSE level with passes in four or more subjects, two of which should be English and Maths. Childcare qualified to a minimum Level 3 and fully trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding children, behaviour management and first aid. Leadership training, including how to manage people and staff development is desirable. Good verbal and written communication skills is a must.
This role is full-time shifts between 7.30-6 pm all year round (job share considered)
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to complete an enhanced criminal record disclosure (DBS check).

We're looking for qualified NVQ Level 3 Early Years Practitioners who are driven to deliver high quality childcare to join our busy nurseries in Calne and Lyneham.
The successful candidate must have a passion for working in an early years setting and ensuring good outcomes for all the children who attend.
You will be a Key Person, carrying out all related responsibilities involved in building relationships with small groups of children and their families. This person should have a child centered approach, ensuring the observation and planning process meets the needs of all children and their interests.
